Who Am I
I am Lynne Jones, a screenwriter with the love of writing and cinema. My transition from a career in finance to screenwriting has been a journey of self-discovery. From the cosmopolitan streets of London to the bustling cities of Toronto, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, my diverse cultural background has shaped a portfolio of screenwriting projects that traverse the vast spectrum of genres.
Each screenplay showcases the fusion of my financial expertise and storytelling prowess, whether it’s a heartwarming rom/coms, an introspective drama for both adult and young adult audiences, or a spine-tingling thriller. I am open to discussing my creative ideas with directors or producers and collaborating with them to craft the best screenplay using my creative writing skills.

Is this the story of a banker with integrity? When accused of fraud amid the Financial Crisis, an eminent London Investment Banker takes solace on the Cornwall coast, with his family. Suspense builds as the crisis deepens and his firm nears collapse. He comes under extreme emotional threat knowing that his actions will affect his career, marriage, and the futures of many others.
Being First – Feature Film
Florence takes her not so serious boyfriend Jed, to attend her old London exchange student friend Katsumi’s wedding in Tokyo, to his childhood sweetheart Yuki. Meeting up again and the reverse cultural shock sparks an illuminating re-evaluation of their goals and dreams.
